my favorite scenes from batman stories are the ones where gordon and batman are alone. they have such respect for each other, yet neither fully trusts the other. greg rucka wrote a great scene between the two at the end of no man's land where batman was about to reveal his secret identity and gordon was insulted by that gesture. he was insulted that batman would actually think that he couldn't or hadn't figured out his identity long ago. jeph loeb and tim sale had some classic moments in their long Halloween books as well.
anyway, still playing with lights and darks, not too happy with this one, but it was sure fun to do.
