flows nice, and the story telling is solid. the old dude kinda' gets lost in the background, but the white space to the right of him, helps force your focus back down to the doorway in the hillside.

but what do i know, i can't even draw that good...

peace out

Hi Marco, great page. I absolutely love the paneling. Your use of positive and negative space is amazing. Are you drawing these on paper? :)

arnie-i kind of painted myself into a corner with that dude. the white space seems pretty obvious, but it was either that or scrap the panel...if time allows i may go back and do that. thanks and i've sen your work and you know you got skills.
th3den-thanks so much. i have the worst system in place right now. i actually do my layouts on comic boards in blue pencil, marker whatever. then i scan them in and ink and tone in manga studio. i need to plan my inks better so i don't run into problems like i did on the first panel. thanks

hi, just happened by-- i dig the simple and identifiable shapes of the characters heads here~:] a fitting choice for quick brushwork style in this genre as well. Cool stuff

Great stuff, Marco! How is this project coming along? JRod is a great writer, so this should kick all kinds of butt!
